The journey to create this world-class sea salt began in 2010, when we set out to put Canada on the map for exceptional salt production. Despite having one of the longest and most pristine shorelines in the world, our amazing country did not produce sea salt – until now.

Drawing from some of the fastest moving ocean currents in the world, our saltworks harness the perfect "merroir" to craft a salt of unparalleled purity, honesty, and sustainability. Situated on a stunning 400-acre farm with over 2 km of untouched ocean frontage on Oyster Bay, we carefully collect seawater, filter out any impurities, and gently boil it into a concentrated brine. This brine is then moved to shallow open evaporation tanks, where it slowly transforms into beautiful flaky pyramid crystals, which are hand-harvested and hand-packaged with the utmost care.

The result is a sea salt that truly captures the essence of Canada. Infused with a unique blend of minerals from nearby glacier-fed rivers, our salt delivers a balanced, flavor-enhancing saltiness that elevates any dish. The larger, delicately textured crystals last longer on the surface of food, providing a burst of salinity and a beautiful, crunchy texture.
